Living on the French Riviera for the last 6 years I've gained a great fondness and knowledge of the area both on land and at sea; working in the villas and then as a stewardess on the yachts, sailing to every port in the Mediterranean
The idea of Azur Flowers came from my time working on the yachts, one of my duties included ordering and arranging flowers, often with short notice for last minute charter bookings which could be problematic being docked in ports and with the heat and other elements affecting some flowers.
Four years later I began turning my dream into a reality, following my marriage in 2014 in Mougins, I decided to enrol in a course at London’s premier florist McQueen's, a world leader in floral design favoured by 5 star hotels, fashion labels and the PR industry.
It was here that I saw boundaries being pushed using flowers in exciting new ways with cutting edge styles, viewed almost as an art installation or fashion statement. I explored various techniques, compositions and colour palettes and further developed my ideas.
