For the ultimate dream wedding, escape to the beautiful village of Clérac just over the border from the Dordogne to a hidden away French château. This stunning venue is complete with tennis courts, a swimming pool and over twenty acres of land to give you and your guests complete privacy. For younger guests there is also a swing set and trampoline, as well as a slack line. Beautiful rolling woodland makes for the perfect photography session backdrop. There is even a beautiful swimming lake complete with paddleboard for those looking for something a bit different, perfect for the day after or for those wishing to do a wreck my dress session.

With its 10 lovingly refurbished bedrooms, the château can sleep up to 30 guests so bring friends and family and let the celebrations continue throughout the weekend. The luxury bedrooms are equipped with guests’ choice of twin or super king beds, with many able to take a third bed making it ideal for families. All rooms are set up with their own en-suite bathrooms, with two bedrooms being set up as a suite and sharing a bathroom.

The wedding breakfast can be held in a variety of different locations to suit every couple, a quiet elopement in the beautiful baroque dining room, complete with original wallpaper, or parties can make use of the wonderfully simple events room, deliberately left neutral for your own wedding decorations to shine through. It can seat up to 75 guests at round tables inside, or if using the outside space, the chateau can accommodate up to 200 guests on the lawn for an al fresco dining experience. Marquees are also welcome for larger numbers.

There is a wonderful choice of spots for wedding blessings, from inside the chateau in the magnificent entrance hallway, to a bohemian celebration by the lake, or even a more structured ceremony on the front lawns, where there is even a wedding arch and pagoda.
