Château Gassies, built in 1775, is a superb wedding venue conveniently located just 10 minutes from Bordeaux train station and 22 minutes from Bordeaux Mérignac Airport.

Set in the heart of a 14 hectare wooded estate, Château Gassies overlooks Bordeaux and its Garonne which offers an amazing view over the whole region. Our unique site, which underwent a 4 year renovation scheme, opened in April 2019. Mixing 18th century authentic features with the luxury of modern technology, offering a perfect blend of luxury and comfort.

We have a large reception room for up to 150 people and superb accommodation for up to 39 guests, in our 5 air-conditioned suites and 3 guest cottages.
Our reception room features wooden beams and typical Bordelaise stone walls decorated with antique mirrors and crystal chandeliers…a light touch of styling is all that is needed to transform the hall into the most charming setting for your evening reception.

The bright and spacious rooms have been styled with French antiques, in keeping with the age of the Chateau. Authenticity and elegance are the words we often hear from guests upon visiting us. 

On the grounds of the Château, you will find an excellent array of facilities, such as a heated infinity pool, a tennis court, a pétanque court, a playground for children, a fully equipped gym, and a wellness area complete with a sauna, steam-bath and power shower.
