Pete McGrane is an Irish guitarist and composer living near the medieval city of Carcassonne in the South of France.

After Pete went travelling he found himself playing for cash in bars around Australia, Asia, and Europe.

Once back in Dublin he studied classical guitar for several years before heading off to the caves of Andalucia, where he learnt how to play flamenco guitar with the masters.

In the years since Pete moved to Paris, he founded a pop band—an intriguing foray into the world of magazine photo shoots, TV miming and festival green rooms—and played as one half of JP Guitar Duo.

Whatever music will make your day, be it the Beatles or Bach, a smattering of Jazz or a touch of Flamenc, or any pop or romantic song that you request, he can tailor his repertoire to suit your needs.

Pete’s beautiful guitar playing was the magic touch that made our wedding ceremony. In fact, he received an unprompted standing ovation from the church audience at the end of one of the songs. (I’ve never seen that at a church wedding!) Each song was delivered beautifully and perfectly. Pete worked with us to pick the selection of songs that were just right for both myself and Sinead, and the big day itself. Pete played the ceremony and drinks reception at our wedding at Chateau de Pennautier in July 2017 and we would highly recommend him if you are looking for a guitarist for your wedding! We are from Scotland and Pete very kindly learned and played a beautiful arrangement of Caledonia for when I walked down the aisle, I'll never forget hearing it as I walked down, it was so beautiful and there wasn't a dry eye in the house! Lots of people commented on it as well as the other great variety of tracks that Pete played throughout the drinks ceremony, it all went down very well and was that special extra touch on our day.
