Beautiful music with an acoustic “vibe” with lovely melodies and catching rhythms
The SWINGUEZ Gypsy jazz band was created by Matt Guez in France 2015.
Previously in the UK Matt had been guitarist and manager of Ultraswing, a considerably successful band playing continental swing jazz in the style of Django Reinhardt and jazz ”manouche”.
Since being based in France (area16, but they do travel considerably), SWINGUEZ have gone from strength to strength appearing at many types of events. Their growing reputation within the wedding market is due to the fact that the SWINGUEZ sound is ideally suited – an acoustic “vibe” with lovely melodies and catching rhythms.
As a duo, trio or quartet , SWINGUEZ can provide entertainment for the church service, afternoon reception and/or evening party.
There is something for everyone in the SWINGUEZ repertoire, swing jazz tunes recognisable by the older generation, French chansons, Gypsy high energy tunes and latin rhythms for those keen to dance.
