Here at Brides in France it is so wonderful to be able to share Luci and Xavier's Dream French Wedding and so nice to see their family and loved ones together celebrating post covid restrictions.
Here is what Luci had to say:
We got married at Château de Brives on the 1st May 2022. Our wedding was not only the first of the season for many friends and suppliers, but also post Covid-19, so there was a real buzz in the air! It was a relaxed boho-chic affair, with lots of pampas, soft fabrics and white florals. I am a graphic designer so I branded every detail with our wedding logo! We embraced tradition where it suited us, but also disregarded it where it didn't – for example our wedding 'cake' was an ice cream bike and my mum walked me down the aisle. Our Celebrant Lisa Lister delivered a really personal ceremony that had every guest crying and laughing in all the right places, it was the highlight of the day for us. Château de Brives was all we hoped for and more when the wedding day came to life, it had so many areas to utilise, so each part of the day was in a new space. Having the wedding in France allowed us to host a three day wedding weekend for the cost of one day in the UK, which meant we had so much more time with friends and family. We wish we could do it all over again!
